Classes
Class Information
Classes this year are structured differently than they have been at past FTWG Conferences. We are no longer using the terms ‘ mini classes’ and ‘workshops.’ Instead, we are using the term ‘classes’ for all, regardless of the total number of instructional hours.
The schedule is based on instructional blocks, which may be either 3 hours long or 4 hours long.

- Total class length for classes scheduled in 3 hour blocks is either 3, 6, 9, or 15 hours. Fifteen hour classes are the same 2.5 day experience that FTWG used to call ‘workshops.’
- Total class length for classes scheduled in 4 hour blocks is either 4 or 8 hours.
- In the class list below, there is a banner at the top of the class letting you know how long it is:
- ‘Half Day’ classes are either 3 or 4 hours of instruction
- ‘Full Day’ classes are either 6 or 8 hours of instruction
- ‘One and a Half Day’ classes are 9 hours of instruction
- Two and a Half Day classes are 15 hours of instruction
- Full Day classes consist of two instructional blocks on the same day.
- One and a Half Day classes and Two and a Half Day classes are scheduled so that all instruction happens on consecutive days.
Class Registration Fees
- Registration fees are paid to FTWG at the time you register for the Conference.
- In addition to the registration fee, most classes also have Materials Fees. The amount of the materials fee varies from one class to the next.
- Materials fees are paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the class, preferably in cash. (No credit cards).

Accommodations

1, 2, 3, or 4 nights for the Conference
Group room rate available for three nights before and three nights after the Conference.
Rooms available with one king bed or two queen beds
King rooms may have single or double occupancy.
Queen rooms may have single, double, triple, or quadruple occupancy. While the total number of occupants may be no more than 4 people in the room, the triple and quadruple rates only apply to adults 18 and older.
No rollaway or other supplementary bedding is available. All adult guests sleep in one of the beds in the room.
Hotel is pet-friendly. $25 additional fee per pet per night. Up to two pets, weighing no more than 25 pounds each. NOTE: while you may have a pet in your hotel room, pets may not accompany you into any of the Conference spaces.
Taxes and a discounted per-night resort rate are included in all room and board packages.
Meal package included.
All rooms include a mini fridge, but no microwave. For 2025, FTWG will have a microwave in our registration area, available for our attendees use.

Guests should be registered through FTWG’s registration process. Guest registration is not available during Early Registration, even if sharing a room with an FTWG member who is eligible for Early Registration.
Guests may choose to purchase a full Room & Board Package, if they would like to purchase all the meals that are included in the package.
Guests may also purchase meals a la carte during registration. Meals that are part of our event may not be purchased onsite, as we must provide numbers to the hotel several weeks before the Conference starts.

Pre- and Post-Conference Hotel Room Nights
$125 per night, Single or Double
The Wyndham is making our group rate available for the three nights before and three nights after the FTWG Conference.
The pre- and post-conference room rates are per room.
The pre- and post-conference room rate of $125 includes taxes and a discounted resort fee.
