Pamela Palma

Pamela Palma was born a fiber artist. She began designing as she learned to knit and sew at age 5; she added textile skills to her repertoire, leading to a degree in Fiber Design (Weaving) 37+ years ago. She teaches textiles at schools, universities, museums, galleries, cultural institutions, community organizations, and art studios. Her personal style encompasses nontraditional/mixed media fiber art and traditional hand wovens with a contemporary twist. Her award-winning fiber designs are exhibited internationally in museums and galleries, and are available on her website. A long-time resident of Miami Beach, Pamela recently left the tropics for the mountains of North Carolina.
