Description

This is a concept class. Students will knit a dishcloth in order to learn reversible mitered squares. This technique can be used to make scarves, afghans, and garments. Unlike traditional mitered squares, this technique produces fabric that is identical on both sides. It lays very flat because there are no ridges. The miters form a zig-zag pattern rather than diagonals. The dishcloth will be finished with applied i-cord. This is not a learn-how-to-knit class, but most beginners can handle this project.

Instructor Bio

Even as a child, Rebecca was fascinated by knitting. No one in her family was a knitter, so she is mostly self-taught. Many things in knitting can be accomplished in multiple ways, so she likes to teach her students to be thinking knitters. She prefers to teach projects that are also concepts.
