An etui is a French term (pronounced é-twē) dating back to the early 17th century. It refers to a small ornamental case used for small articles, such as sewing needles. We will make a small portable case for carrying supplies for dorset buttons. Inspiration and ideas will abound for other types of weaving on the go.

All materials to make an etui are included in the registration fee.
Registration Fees are paid when you register to attend the FTWG Conference. Materials fees are paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of class. You should plan to pay the materials fee in cash.
- Small embroidery or foldable scissors
While Ellen is primarily a loom weaver, she loves to try non-loom fiber techniques. She has taught tablet weaving, temari, dorset buttons, and dragon boats for various weaving guilds and FTWG.
