Barbara Pietruk

Barbara has been weaving over 20 years, and has taught all sort of crafts since the early 1980s.
She currently teaches at the Knit and Stitch, a yarn shop in Cocoa Florida, where for 16 years she has held classes in knitting, crochet, and weaving. Barbara often says, "I may not be able to DO everything, but I love that I can TRY everything!" As a military wife, Barbara has lived in numerous states, and worked at everything from teacher, accountant, seamstress, benefit specialist in the corporate setting, including the shuttle program.

Barbara loves teaching rigid heddle weaving as an easy entry point into weaving with a lower cost to get started, simple warping and a wide availability of yarns that can be used.
