Big Flower Class — Wet Felting Techniques

In this class you will learn how to wet felt a large flower with attached lariat like stem. Using wool, silk, and silky mohair locks I will teach you how to take a pile of wool and make this stunning 3D flower. Techniques that you will learn are basic wet felting, using resists, and adding 3-d elements to your felt.

Registration Fees are paid when you register to attend the FTWG Conference. Materials fees are paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of class. You should plan to pay the materials fee in cash.

Kelly is a teacher from Dade City, Florida. While her process-oriented left brain gets a workout with her students, she is happiest when she is able to unleash her artistic right brain! Kelly has many creative opportunities on the farm where she lives with her family and a plethora of furry friends: alpacas, sheep, llamas, angora goats, and a fluffy giant angora rabbit. She has been felting, dyeing, spinning, and weaving for a number of years.
