This workshop will cover all the essentials for weaving plain weave inkle bands, including efficient warping techniques, how to make string heddles, and how to read and follow inkle pattern drafts. Students will also gain helpful tips and tricks to enhance their weaving experience.

Ideal for beginners or those seeking a thorough refresher, this workshop offers a solid foundation in inkle band weaving.

$25.00 to be paid directly to the instructor for a custom inkle weaving tool kit, original weaving inkle drafts and handouts.

Jennifer Williams

Jennifer Williams Instructor

Jennifer B.Williams is a band weaver who finds endless joy in her inkle loom, her favorite tool for creative exploration. Inspired by both tradition and innovation, she explores techniques from around the world and adapts them to the inkle loom. She strives to expand the possibilities of inkle weaving through her original project designs, drawing on her diverse fiber arts interests.
