Fiber Prep Basics
with Emma Pinault
Students will learn multiple ways of transforming scoured wool fleece into ready-to-spin fiber, using a range of tools to create rolags, top, batts, and roving.
Students will have an opportunity to practice with hand cards, hand combs, and a drum carder.

Emma Pinault
Emma Pinault developed a love of teaching and learning new things during her ten year career as a public librarian. Today she lives on a small farm in north Florida, where she can usually be found with a drop spindle in her hands if her fingers are not absolutely required for other activities.
