Mend that Hole with Sashiko
with Constance Lee

Do you want your favorite clothes to be meaningful and give them a new life?
Are your denim jeans torn and have holes where you don’t want them to be?
Perhaps it is a blouse or a shirt?
THEN, this visible mending class is for you! Join me, and I will show you how to repair your garment(s), enhancing it’s beauty with alternating stars, zig zags, stripes, or nature-inspired hand-stitched designs. You may bring a few articles of clothing to choose from. Japanese fabrics, sashiko thread, notions, and design templates will be provided. (You may bring your favorite fabric to patch with.)
Also, a gallery of repaired garments will be on display for inspiration. So, if you want to have a real “Zen” moment, then there is nothing better than sitting around a large table slow-stitching with other like-minded people for a few hours.
