Ancient Meets Modern with Adrienne Gaskell
Discover how to transform traditional braid structures into a stunning contemporary necklace. In this creative, skill-building class, you’ll explore innovative ways to transform braids into your unique design.
We’ll be working with beautiful Japanese kumihimo silk in a wide range of colors, so every necklace will be a one-of-a-kind piece. While the sample shown is a short necklace, you’ll have the freedom to choose the length and number of braids to create your own distinctive piece.
This hands-on class is perfect for all levels of braiders who are comfortable setting up and braiding fiber on a marudai. It’s an inspiring exploration of creativity that will expand your skills and open up exciting new design possibilities.
