March 27, 28, 29, 30
Florida Tropical Weavers Guild 2008 Conference

Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center - Lake Yale, Fl

Our Annual Conference will be offered again at the Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center located near Eustis, Florida - that is just north of Orlando. This year the conference will be set-up in a retreat style, offering a large gathering area with tables for you to bring your favorite project to work on, share time with friends and get to know others.

An additional plus will be the many Mini-Workshops that will be offered throughout the entire weekend, beginning Thursday afternoon, March 27 and continuing until Sunday afternoon, March 30th.

We will have a Members’ Market Place where you can sell your “wares”, a live auction, Talent Night at the Lake (you can be the star), Entertainment, a Spin-In, Weaving Exchange, Show and Tell, Fashion Show, optional trips to the various shops in Mt. Dora, table space in the auditorium along with other guild members to work on your favorite projects, and free time to just visit with those you haven’t see since last year.

We will have our vendors with us again this year, so allow time in your schedules for shopping.

Registration will officially begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in McGuire Auditorium. Should you decide to come early, you may purchase a Thursday lunch ticket with your registration, or bring your brown bag and picnic at the lake.
