Many times we've alerted you to the fact that it's Retreat time with the hopes that you will join us, and here we are again. It's a wonderful time to collect your thoughts, get your projects lined up and spend some down-time or "get it done time" with fellow FTWG members. IT IS OPEN TO ALL FTWG MEMBERS. We have such a good time, join us!
This year we will explore the Mt. Dora area. Our final destination is the Hampton Inn Mt. Dora, 197 US HWY 441, Mt. Dora 32757, near Eustis and Mt. Dora, FL. So, set your Tom Tom or Garmon for this fun location. The shopping is renowned as are the many restaurants. It's just a fun place to be.
Since we have decided from past Retreats that we like to have a kitchen, we have made sure that we have rooms that provide us with this benefit. A continental breakfast is provided with each room. Our meeting room is located on the ground floor. Don't forget your swimming suit and there's a workout room for the more ambitious attendees.

This year the reservation fee is $25 for those staying at the motel and $50 if you decide to join us as a day-tripper. The day-tripper fee includes all days of the retreat. Keep in mind that the meeting room fee is based on the number of motel rooms that we reserve, thus the need for a reservation/meeting room fee. As in the past, if there are any overages, we will apply it to something that the group would like to do, such as a group lunch, or just refund any remaining balances.
Due to the popularity of the area, they can only hold the rooms and rates till that date. A double room is $79 per night for 2 people. These reservations are to be made directly with the motel by phone at 352-383-4267. Be sure to tell them that you are with the Florida Tropical Weavers Guild and give them confirmation # 87220622 since we have special rates. Non-smoking and handicapped rooms are available and must be requested in advance. Details regarding cancellations of rooms, deposits, and access time to rooms must be discussed when you are making your reservations. Any reservations after July 24 will probably be at a high rate if they even have a room available.
